Chara might not be the evil character nor the innocent one. But I can say them as a kid with justice and determination. Like, in the end of the genocide they killed us because we deserved it. And the plan they made wasn't evil. They made that plan because they deeply loved monsters and wanted to free them. The 'killing six human souls' wasn't bad to them because they did hate humans. So, I find it kind of right of them. I'm not being cruel or heartless for this. So, I guess they really aren't evil at all and that they have reasons for being mean or heartless towards us.

Tbh I prefer Mettaton over Chara. Chara may be a nice character, but they're overused and used for songs not meant for them. (Ex= Megalo Strike Back, Megaloglamour) (like c'mon, Megaloglamour is MEANT FOR STORYSHIFT! METTATON, NOT STORYSHIFT! CHARA)
